Coming Soon - Inkubus

Inkubus, an upcoming film which stars Robert Englund and is being made by the Woodhaven Production Company, now has an official date for its world premiere. The event will occur at the DCU Convention Center in Worcester, Massachusetts on October 15th at 8pm. The event will feature members of the cast in attendance as well as an after-party, and promises a few surprises. Inkubus will then later hit a more widespread theatrical release on October 28th of this year.

Written by Carl Dupre of Hellraiser fame and directed by Glenn Ciano, the project will be the first motion picture release from Woodhaven Production Company, but the outfit already has a second film in the final stages of post, with plans for a third film following that.

The plot of Inkubus follows a small group of police officers who are working the final shift at a police station which is soon to be closed permanently. But things go a little wonky for them when a demon calling himself Inkubus (played by Robert Englund) saunters through the front doors with a severed head in his fist. He gives up without a struggle and starts confessing his many, horrendous crimes. But when it comes time for his one phone call, the only person he’s interested in contacting is the police detective who nearly captured him thirteen years prior.

Inkubus sounds like a pretty cool flick and I’ve never been one to pass up the chance to see horror legend Robert Englund sink his teeth into a role, so I’ll definitely be keeping my eye on it.
