Eagle One Media have acquired the rights to distribute. It’s titled Zombie Dawn, and was made by the creative minds of Christian Toledo and Lucio A. Rojas, whom both shared the hats of writer, director and producer on the project. Made on a micro-budget of only $2,000 and focusing on the aftermath of a flesh-eating zombie outbreak, Zombie Dawn is currently set for a 2012 release.
The plot follows the events that unfold following a mysterious incident that takes place at a remote mining facility in South America. Somehow, an overwhelming zombie horde is set loose on the area, and entire regions of the city and countryside are left unlivable. The government works quickly to seal off the infected areas and leaves them bottled up for the next 15 years.
Finally deciding to take further action and get to the bottom of things, both the government and the mining corporation responsible decide to send in a team of mercenaries and scientists to find the answers they seek. Of course, something is bound to go wrong at this point, and Zombie Dawn will be the chronicle of those hair-raising events.
Keep your eyes peeled for Zombie Dawn in 2012 from Eagle One Media.
