Coming Soon - The Night Shift

I’ve become aware of an independent project on the horizon that’s being put out by a company called Fighting Owl Films.  The movie is a feature length horror-adventure-comedy based on a short which the group previously received positive feedback on.  It’s called The Night Shift, and stars Khristian Fulmer as Rue Morgan, an immortal cemetery watchman with a limbless corpse for a best bud and a whole host of supernatural problems brought on by his crazy situation.

It’s going to be the first full length project put out by this company, and it looks to have more than enough spirit and imagination to potentially turn out to be something special.  I have yet to see any footage beyond a few promo trailers, but my interest is definitely piqued.  If there’s one thing I appreciate, it’s a good dose of comedy with my killing, and originality is always a big plus, too.

The currently slated release is set for direct to DVD on October 25th.  Just in time for Halloween, boys and girls.  So I’ll be keeping my eye on this one and I look forward to seeing what Fighting Owl Films can do with their first big project.
