There’s a new horror flick coming down the pipes from Tempe Video called Mother’s Day Evil. Apparently, it was originally produced under the title of “Curio,” so if you have trouble finding info about the film online, try searching under the alternate name. In fact, at present that’s the only way you’ll find details about it at IMDB.
It follows the harrowing adventures of an American mother and daughter visiting the English countryside. They run afoul of a crazy misanthrope named Len, whom hears the voice of an entity known only as “Mother” inside his head. Gathering all the strength and resourcefulness they can, the two women must find a way to survive while slowly unravelling the mysteries surrounding the unpredictable and violent man they’ve encountered.
Keep your eyes peeled for a release on June 19th, 2012.
